Crypto Autopilot is an algorithm that manages a basket of cryptos denominated in bitcoin. It uses advanced quant trading strategies to analyse market price dynamics, buy promising assets and avoid negative price fluctuations. Autopilot works only with Bitcoin (BTC) with the main goal to keep and grow its Bitcoin value.

Anyone can put their bitcoins on autopilot by using osom.finance, via the web, Android or iOS apps. Please read the risk notice before using Crypto Autopilot (note that this article is not investment advice).

Crypto Autopilot allocates Bitcoins to a basket of different crypto assets that match strict quality criteria (see below). Users only need to add BTC to Autopilot's balance, everything else is done by the system. The algorithm will track the crypto market price dynamics and act accordingly to the preset trading strategy, with the main goal of avoiding price drawdowns. The list of supported assets is reviewed on a daily basis.

The list of crypto assets supported by the Autopilot (aka "the Universe") is not fixed but is decided upon a set of rules, such as quality of the project, regulatory certainty, capitalization, liquidity and underlying technology. To avoid manipulation and price abuse, we do not publish the list of assets currently in the Autopilot Universe. However, every user of the Autopilot receives a Monthly Statement after 30 days from the first deposit, reflecting the assets accounting for the majority of the allocated funds.

The algorithm of the Autopilot has been initially configured and thoroughly tested on an array of Bitcoin-denominated crypto assets. The reason Bitcoin has been chosen over Ethereum or Dollar is the number of tradable pairs across crypto exchanges. BTC pairs also have the highest market capitalization and daily trading volumes, compared to ETH or USD-equivalents.

Crypto Autopilot has been tested for 8 months prior to release to make sure that the technology works and is free of bugs. This, however, does not constitute absence of risk. There might be cases of force majeure which may result in halting of the service or loss of all funds. This might happen due to such reasons as:

• Economy collapse
• Loss of crypto value
• Forces of nature

The list above is not exhaustive but reflects the possible cases, most of which are completely outside of our control. Your basket will be published as a Monthly Statement at the end of every month since the first month of using the Autopilot. We do not reveal 100% of the assets that Autopilot keeps in the basket to avoid reverse-engineering of the quant strategy, yet the statement will reflect the major basket holdings. You can download your statement from the Autopilot page in the OSOM app, in the Statements section. If you do not see any statements, it means that none have been created for you so far, which usually means that you have not used the Autopilot long enough (i.e. 30 days).

3. Select Crypto Autopilot in the list;
4. Read the introduction and press Start;

Every day you will see changes to your Autopilot balance. Changes can be both positive and negative, so don't worry if one day you see the Autopilot underperforming. To add Bitcoins (XBT or BTC) to Crypto Autopilot:

If you already have BTC in OSOM:

1. Open the OSOM app and tap on Portfolio;
2. Select Accounts view;
3. Open the Crypto Autopilot;
4. Click ‘Add BTC’;
5. Select how much BTCs to transfer;
6. Wait until the transaction from your Crypto Vault to the Crypto Autopilot is finished;
7. Enjoy!

If you don't have BTCs in OSOM:

1. Open the OSOM app and tap on "Add BTC" at the top;
2. Select the currency you want to deposit Bitcoin;
3. Copy address. Now, when you see your BTCs in your wallet, follow the steps above. Please note that sometimes the Bitcoin network can be overloaded (aka lagging), resulting in transactions going slower than usual. In some cases, the transaction cost can spike after you made a transfer with a smaller network fee, resulting in your transaction getting a smaller priority in the Bitcoin confirmation machine. In such cases, funds will either arrive later, or they will be sent back to your Crypto Vault.

If your Bitcoins do not reach Crypto Autopilot, or do not return to your Crypto Vault after 24 hours, please let us know.

Crypto Autopilot fees are kept down to an absolute minimum and include (1) monthly performance fees and (2) operational fees.

Performance fees:
A monthly fee of 10% of your BTC performance is deducted from profits made within every 30-day period or, upon exit, for the period since the last fee has been calculated.

Operational fees:
fees paid to third-party providers to facilitate transactions such as network and trading fees:

1. The platforms on which we manage the basket of crypto assets charge us for every trade and transaction. When you withdraw your funds from the Autopilot, we will need to sell all altcoins accounting for the selected withdrawal amount, and then withdraw BTC to your Osom crypo wallet;
2. Network fees are paid to Blockchain networks to process and validate transactions. The network fee will be deducted from BTC sent to users’ Osom crypto wallet.

We sometimes may need to contact you about your deposits and withdrawals. Please keep an eye on your email (including your junk folder) in case we have sent you an email.

To withdraw Bitcoins (BTC) from the Crypto Autopilot:

1. Open the OSOM app;
2. Click on Crypto Autopilot;
3. Click ‘Withdraw’;
4. Select how many BTCs to transfer;
5. Wait until the transaction from the Crypto Autopilot to your Crypto Vault is finished;
6. Enjoy!

If your Bitcoins do not reach your Crypto Vault, after 24 hours, please let us know. TIP: Crypto Autopilot does not bring positive results 100% of the days, so don't panic if one day it underperformed. Set a maximum threshold for the loss you are willing to accept, and withdraw only when your expectations were not met, or when you have reached one of your financial goals.

Upon withdrawal from the Crypto Autopilot, you may see that you can only withdraw a certain amount specified in percentages. The number of options available is determined by the size of your Crypto Autopilot balance. If when withdrawing your balance falls below the minimum required, then the Autopilot won't be able to operate and you'll then be required to withdraw all the funds The smaller your balance, less withdrawal options you have, to a minimum of 100% at once. Once your balance grows substantially, you may get access to withdrawing as little as 50%, going all the way to 25% and then 10%.

To serve its duty, the Crypto Autopilot needs to buy and hold a basket of over 30 different crypto assets, with every asset in the basket having a certain required minimum in BTC-denominated holdings. These required minimums can be changing, but for a rough example, you may consider that every asset needs to have at least 1 EUR of balance. Crypto Autopilot cannot work with only half of a basket, so to use it, you need to respect the rules of minimum holdings. For that reason, to avoid situations of Crypto Autopilot balance being less than the required minimum, you may only be allowed to withdraw all 100% at once without other smaller increments.

In order to manage a basket of different crypto assets, we rely on using third-party crypto exchange platforms. These platforms by nature bill us for every trade and transaction. During operations, trading fees are immediately taken from the global Autopilot balance by the exchanges, and these fees are not reflected in monthly statements. However, if you decide to withdraw your funds from the Autopilot, we will need to sell all altcoins accounting for the selected withdrawal amount, and then withdraw BTC to your Crypto Vault. In such cases, conversion and transaction costs will be laid upon you.
